An iconic landmark for Muscat and the Sultanate of Oman, the Oman Convention & Exhibition Centre is surrounded by nature, it overlooks a Wadi that is a haven for Oman’s exotic bird life, yet it is only 10 minutes from the new Muscat International Airport.

Located in its own fully integrated business precinct, this world-class facility is perfectly suited to host international, regional and national conventions, exhibitions and business events. Amongst its features are a tiered-auditorium seating 3,200 delegates, over 55 meeting spaces plus 22,000 square metres of flat floor column free space on the same level.

Architecturally advanced in design and capability, this world-class venue is among the first to be built to meet the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Certification by the U.S. Green Building Council. The design of this purpose built Convention & Exhibition Centre ensures a range of the meeting space to meet the specifications as outlined in this bid document. It also incorporates expansive concourse areas to enable flow of large delegations with floor to ceiling windows overlooking landscaped gardens and water features.
